How to use autotune in Ableton Live

- Open Live. If STARR TUNE is missing, open Settings, then Plug-Ins, turn on the VST3 system folders (Windows) or Audio Units (Mac) and choose Rescan.
- In the browser, open Plug-Ins, find STARR TUNE and drag it onto your vocal track, first in the chain.
- Set Root and Scale to your song, or use Analyze WAV on your instrumental to get a key suggestion. Then press Hard tune or Gentle as a starting point.

Questions
Is there a free autotune for Ableton?
Yes. STARR TUNE is free in VST3 and AU, with every feature and no license key, and it loads in Ableton Live on Windows and Mac.
Where does STARR TUNE go in my Ableton chain?
First on the vocal track, before EQ, compression, reverb and delay, so it tunes the dry voice.
